Telecharge is starting something new with its email list.

Now, when a show books a Telecharge email and includes a discount offer, we’re now sharing that offer on Telecharge social media (Facebook and Twitter). The primary goal is to extend the reach of offers and increase conversions by making them more visible and infinitely more shareable. That makes every email booked with Telecharge more valuable.

While the Telecharge email program is still going strong, delivering millions of impressions each year and moving the needle on sales volume, it’s important to recognize that email is just one component of a layered push marketing campaign. That’s why it’s vital to continue to find ways to strengthen email; adding social into the mix is one way.

This isn’t the first time Shubert has made social a part of the overall email strategy. Shows can use Datastream to retarget their email audience, layering in recipient data on social channels to deliver targeted display advertising—reinforcing the email message and adding a second hit to the blast.
