Our Innovative Solutions Make the Impossible Possible
At Shubert Ticketing, we’re proud of the relationships we have built with our valued clients. The unparalleled flexibility and versatility of our products and services help us meet the needs of our clients – whatever they may be. Here are just a few examples of challenging Shubert Ticketing projects that required our renowned creativity, technical sophistication, and business experience to ensure success for our clients.
SeatGeekSeatGeek, a company that rose to prominence as a destination for aggregated ticket listings from the secondary market, has made a significant move into primary listings. Telecharge, a division of Shubert Ticketing, was the first primary ticket company to partner with them, and SeatGeek was thrilled to be able to offer its users access to box office inventory from the leading provider of ticket services for Broadway.
Through a robust and seamless API integration, all Telecharge inventory is broadcast live onto SeatGeek’s online and mobile platforms. The Telecharge branding on SeatGeek reinforces to users that they’re purchasing directly from the official box office. Telecharge still processes all transactions, and neither Telecharge nor SeatGeek has to manage a second set of inventory, as is the case with other distribution channels. Broadway shows often have to discount their tickets in order to take advantage of distribution channels. But through its partnership with SeatGeek, Shubert Ticketing enables Telecharge shows to sell tickets at full price to SeatGeek's 8 million monthly active users, and 30% of those sales occur within three days of the performance. |
Broadway.comBroadway.com is one of the industry’s most high-profile web destinations, providing theatre fans worldwide with a comprehensive hub for theatrical information, news, and multimedia and editorial content.
In an effort to service its patrons in a more dynamic and immediate way, Broadway.com was looking for a way to confirm seat locations for ticket buyers, by accessing Shubert Ticketing’s live inventory. They needed to be able to access that inventory in a controlled, auditable environment. Through Shubert Ticketing’s XML-based API functionality, we were able to provide Broadway.com with access to live ticket inventory within two days. Within two months, the project had been completed, resulting in greater transparency between Broadway.com and its customers. By enabling them to confirm sales immediately, Shubert Ticketing eliminated a significant barrier to customer conversion, and Broadway.com buyers can now have their tickets delivered via email. This allows Broadway.com to sell more tickets, increase consumer trust, and deliver a higher level of service. |
